COvid update

Hoo boy, it's been a few days.

Prairie University has been pounded by the combination of cuts and covid, and we've had 5 layoffs on our team, one and a half retirements, and two more layoffs in the team above ours and one looming retirement there, so it's brutal. Plus, you know, these are the people who are helping to support the researchers who do research on Covid-19, so that's not awesome.

But the fucking provincial government is bound and determined to destroy post-secondary education in Alberta so off they go!

I've decided to start thinking of them as actual lunatics in an asylum, because it's the only thing that makes sense to me as a motivator for their behaviour
