A nice day with the Newcomer

So the islanders hosted the festival of lights this evening, which I had not been able to attend for some time.

Interestingly, as it's a good way to meet the islanders, the Newcomer had attended often and so this was a time for him and I to meet on neutral ground with no stakes.

No discussions of what his plans are for the new areas he wants to build, no discussion of whether he will return to the mainland... just the natives doing their native dances and the usual fireworks.
